Take Your First Steps Towards Reading the Qur'an
Learning to read the Qur'an is a beautiful journey, and Noorani Qaida is where that journey begins. Whether you are enrolling your child or starting to learn yourself, this course will help you build a strong foundation in reading Arabic and preparing to read the Qur'an.
At AL AMANAH PROJECT, we guide students step by step, starting with the Arabic letters and gradually moving towards reading words correctly. Our aim is to help every student learn at a comfortable pace, understand the basics, and become more confident with regular practice.
You will begin by learning to recognise the Arabic letters, understand their different shapes, and distinguish between letters that look or sound similar.
Learning the letters is only the beginning. You will practise pronouncing them correctly, with guidance from your teacher on their proper points of articulation (Makharij).
Once you become familiar with individual letters, you will learn how they join together to form Arabic words. This will help you move gradually from recognising letters to reading them together.
You will learn the basic vowel signs — Fathah, Kasrah, and Dammah — and understand how they change the sounds of Arabic letters.
As you progress, you will learn to read letters with Tanween and Sukoon and practise using these signs correctly in different words.
You will also learn the basics of Madd, Leen letters, and Tashdeed, helping you understand longer sounds, connected reading, and doubled letters.
Throughout the course, you will practise what you learn with your teacher. Regular revision will help you recognise mistakes, improve your pronunciation, and become more comfortable reading Arabic.
This course is suitable for children, teenagers, and adults who want to learn to read the Qur'an from the beginning or strengthen their basic Arabic reading skills.
You do not need any previous experience. Whether you are learning your first Arabic letters or revisiting lessons you learned earlier, you can start from the level that suits you.
Our online classes are conducted through Zoom, allowing students to learn from the comfort of their homes.
Teachers guide students through each lesson, listen to their reading, correct mistakes, and help them revise what they have learned. Students can gradually move forward as they become more confident with each stage.
We understand that every student learns differently. Some may progress quickly, while others may need more time and practice. What matters is learning correctly and continuing with consistency.
Classes are arranged according to our gender-specific teaching policy, with female students taught by female teachers and male students taught by male teachers.
Lessons are available in English and Urdu, depending on the course and teacher arrangements.
By the time you complete the course and demonstrate sufficient progress, you should be able to recognise Arabic letters, pronounce them more accurately, read common vowel signs, join letters to form words, and apply the basic reading rules you have learned.
Most importantly, you will have built a foundation that can help you move on to reading the Qur'an directly, with further guidance from your teacher when you are ready.

Free classes and educational books are available to eligible students who need assistance. Students must submit a request, and our administrator team will verify their eligibility before approval. These facilities depend on the academy's policies and available resources.
